How to Identify Your Values Before Any Workbook Exercise Asks You to List Them

The Name It First Experience
Most values exercises produce a list of words that sound right: honesty, family, integrity, growth. None of those words explain a single decision you have made. This guide works differently. You will start with the decisions you have already made — the patterns in what you protect, what you compromise, what you refuse — and work backward to the values those decisions reveal. By the end you will hold a values map built from evidence. The output is not a list of aspirations. It is a map of what you already are.
