Eritrean culture carries expectations for women — what a good daughter does, what the community expects, how service defines belonging. Those expectations were shaped by a history of survival that deserves honor. What also deserves honor is the self that exists alongside all of that service. Your Self-Document is where you name both clearly enough to see who you are. The output is not a rejection of your culture. It is a signed account of who you are within it.
